
We welcome PhD research students who are undertaking doctorates elsewhere to spend short periods of time at the Centre for Tourism and Cultural Change in Leeds.
To apply, please send us:
- a covering letter explaining what you hope to achieve during your time with the CTCC and the period that you would like to spend with us;
- an outline of your research project;
- a current curriculum vitae;
- a letter from your PhD supervisor supporting your application.
If you wish to stay at the CTCC as a Visiting PhD Scholar you will need to pay a ‘bench fee’ of £500 per months.
Once accepted as a Visiting PhD scholar and during your time with us, you will be entitled to:
- supervision by academic staff who have/has agreed to accept you;
- participation in CTCC and University research training events; seminars, workshops, colloquia and other related activities;
- an email account and access to networked computers;
- desk space at the CTCC offices;
- membership of, and borrowing rights from the University library.
